Welcome to Anchor Pointe Resort, previously Wagon Wheel! The resort property features 18 cabins and is located just steps from beautiful Bull Shoals Lake! All cabins are equipped with either full or queen beds and a kitchenette. Enjoy the convenience of the full-service marina and launching ramps that are adjacent to the resort as well as the Corps of Engineers maintained campground. The campground has electric and water access at each site as well as a shower facility in the park and a sump facility at the park entrance.
We are centrally located north of Harrison between Branson, the town of Bull Shoals, Silver Dollar City, Eureka Springs (Passion Play), the White River and many other interesting attractions. There are three golf courses located within 45 minutes of our recreation area. The dogwood and redbud trees paint our mountains in mid-April, and the fall colors are breathtaking.
The resort has a seasonal restaurant, where you can dine overlooking the lake, or you can cook in your own cabin where everything is provided for your convenience. Barbeque grills are located outside the cabins. Don't bother to pack that electric coffee pot or toaster, they are already in your cabin along with all the cooking utensils and linens.
Within a few hundred feet of the Anchor Pointe Resort and campground, is the Hwy 125 Marina where a variety of pontoon, fishing and paddle boat rentals are available to help make your stay enjoyable.
For those of you who will be coming in from the north, you may enjoy a "free car ferry" ride which links Highway 125 from Missouri to Arkansas. We are on the south side of the lake. The ferry currently runs during daylight hours only.
Well trained pets are always welcome but the Corps of Engineers requires that they be leashed at ALL times and NOT allowed to run loose.
